Cherry Long Island Iced Tea is a seasonally inspired twist on the classic Long Island Iced Tea recipe.
Cheers to “accidental recipes”, darlings! I’m so glad we had leftover cherry cola from a family visit so we could make this Cherry Long Island Iced Tea, because it is one delicious summer cocktail. Long Island iced teas are designed for slow sipping on hot summer evenings. (more…)
Watermelon mint sangria is a refreshing summer cocktail! This sangria recipe is made for warm evenings on the porch.
We’re going to get our first heat wave next week, and I’m a little excited about it. The recent weather has been mildly warm and perfect for walks outside, but it’s felt like a prolonged spring rather than summer. Whether you make it as a cocktail or a mocktail, this sparkling mint julep is a lovely drink for a celebration! Large hats optional.

And we should wear large, decorative hats while sipping something sparkling, because why not? Whether it’s for a Derby party or just because, I’m loving this sparkling mint julep at the moment.

Despite his reputation as a womanizer, James Bond is also a man who knows how to fall in love, and that is the inspiration for this drink. I take you to the first James Bond novel, Casino Royale, and the story of the Vesper martini. (more…)

Bourbon was something I wasn’t exposed to until college, and since then it has been my liquor of choice for pairing with barbecue and other meat dishes, to prepare brine for turkey, or to just enjoy on the rocks.
